Itzhaki Flowers: A Family Flower Shop Since 1968

Itzhaki Flowers is the Itzhaki family’s flower shop, and flowers have been our livelihood, our language and our home for three generations. Our flowers passed through Grandpa’s hands, through Dad’s, and now they pass through ours, and in every generation we learned something new about them without giving up what we received from the generation before us. Today we arrange flowers in our shop at 44 Menachem Begin Blvd in Kfar Yona and at our branch at 11 Weizmann St in Netanya, and send bouquets to the whole Sharon and Emek Hefer.

Grandpa Moshe and the Soil of Kfar Yona

Our story begins in the soil. Grandpa Moshe immigrated to Israel from Persia in 1948 and settled in Kfar Yona. In his fields he grew celosia and gladiolus, and strawberries too, among other things, in work that starts before sunrise and ends only when the light goes down.

From his years in the field, our family kept the eye that recognizes a good flower before it even opens, and the understanding that a fresh flower starts with the grower. That is why to this day we buy directly from the growers and bring in flowers every morning that were picked that same day, and we do not believe in flowers that wait in a fridge for weeks.

Dad Ilan and the Shop on Route 57

In 1968 our father, Ilan, opened the family’s first flower shop, in Kfar Yona, on Route 57. For more than fifty years people from all over the Sharon stopped there on their way to a wedding, to the hospital, to a Friday dinner or to say goodbye to someone dear, and each of them left with a bouquet Dad arranged for them. From him we learned what we call the values of people of the old days: you answer every call, you stand behind every word you promised, and you arrange every bouquet as if it were going to family.

The Third Generation of Itzhaki Flowers: Shai, Eden and Ofek

In 2020 the shop moved from Route 57 into Kfar Yona, to 44 Menachem Begin Blvd, and it also passed to us, the third generation: Shai, Eden and Ofek. We grew up among the water buckets and the stems in Dad’s shop, and when our turn came we brought technology with us.

We built a site where you can order a flower bouquet at any hour and choose the delivery day and the time window, and we print the greeting you write on a card and attach it to the bouquet. At checkout you can choose whether the bouquet goes to a private house, an apartment building, an office or a hospital, so the courier knows in advance where he is going, and if you are not sure when the recipient will be home, you can choose the option to coordinate the delivery with them. Behind the scenes we built a system that follows every order from the arranging table to the recipient’s door.

That is how we connect Grandpa’s hands with today’s tools, and keep what matters most to us: that the service and the bouquets are at the highest level, in every order and every day.

What We Arrange

Every day our shop arranges rose bouquets and tulip bouquets, and alongside them bouquets for the occasion: birthday flowers, a bouquet for a new mom that we also send to the hospital, and an anniversary bouquet.

For weddings we make bridal bouquets, flower crowns of real flowers only, and wedding car decorations, and you can book your wedding order with us three months or even half a year ahead.

On sad days we arrange funeral flowers with a black ribbon for your words, and whoever prefers to come and collect the flowers themselves is welcome at our shop in Kfar Yona. And whoever wants a gift that stays in the home sends an orchid or a plant in a planter through us, and sometimes adds a teddy bear, chocolate or a vase to the bouquet.

How a Bouquet Is Born at Our Shop

Every bouquet of ours is arranged on the morning of the delivery day, even when you ordered it a week ahead. The morning at the shop on 44 Menachem Begin starts with the flowers that arrived from the growers that same hour, and from the arranging table the bouquet goes straight to the courier. When the order comes in by 18:00 Sunday to Thursday, or by 14:00 on Friday, the bouquet is delivered the same day, within 3 hours of ordering.

Where Our Flowers Go

We send to Kfar Yona and Netanya, Herzliya, Raanana and Kfar Saba, Hod HaSharon, Ramat HaSharon, Even Yehuda and Hadera, Laniado Hospital and Meir Hospital, and dozens of towns in Emek Hefer and the Sharon.
